In 2007, Doris founded Mardel Realty & Loans to help home buyers navigate one of the most challenging financial decisions in their lives. As a mortgage specialist and real estate broker based in Hercules, CA, Doris is a trusted expert in California home financing.

Originally, Doris wanted to name her company “Dordel” for Dor(is) + de + L(eon). However, she didn’t love the way “Dordel” sounded, so she went back to the drawing board.

That’s when inspiration struck a little closer to home. Doris decided to name the company “Mardel” after her husband, Mario de Leon, blending family and partnership into the foundation of her business.

Mardel represents teamwork, commitment, and the belief that building a home is just as much about family and community as it is about financing. And from day one, that mindset has shaped the way we at Mardel Realty & Loans serve our clients: with care, trust, and long-term relationships at the heart of everything we do.
